The QR code is a two-dimensional barcode developed by the Japanese company Denso-Wave in 1994. The abbreviation "QR" comes from the English designation Quick Response, as the code is designed with fast decoding in mind.
The principle of use is that a QR code printed on paper or an object is scanned by a camera or camera, and the software decodes the textual information contained in the code. In Japan, the QR code has become the de facto standard, and most mobile phones with a built-in camera can decode these codes.
